Logan's 4th Birthday !!

We had a little party for Logan at his Nursery for his 4th birthday. What fun that was!! We took in American snacks, cake, ice cream and juice boxes! These little English kids have never had food like this before. They thought the juice boxes were pretty good and they were a bit nervous to try the Goldfish Crackers at first but after one they were hooked (no pun intended). They thought the ice cream was really good and I can't blame them. We have tried the ice cream here and it's nothing to write home about! They thought the cake and frosting (I think it was Betty Crocker) was too sweet. The cake that we have had here is not as sweet and most of the time it wasn't that moist so a big difference. But they all had fun!

Horseback Riding Lessons 12/13/08

Audrey went Christmas Caroling with the Girl Scouts on base and then she spent the night at her friend Kelsi's house. In the morning Kelsi went to her riding lessons and Audrey was able to take a lesson as well. SHE LOVED IT!!! Logan got to sit on Minty, he is too young to take lessons, you have to be 5 and he will only be 4 next week. So far the next few days we heard that they want to go riding and that they would like to get a horse! The crazy thing, it was raining that day and they still rode. It was around 2 in the afternoon when I took the pictures of Audrey & Kelsi. The sun sets here around 3:30pm, you can see how dark it was already getting by the time I took the picture of Logan at about 3:00. Love the English Winters...at least no snow!

Thanksgiving 2008

We celebrated our 1st Thanksgiving here in England! It was so nice, our friends from Wales (Bob & Joanne, they are Americans working and living in Wales) came over for a visit and had dinner with us! We had the works, turkey, potatoes, stuffing, etc.
It's a bit late for this post...but better late than never!

Update on Liam

Yesterday, Nov. 17th Liam had his well baby appointment (and shots or jabs as they say here).

Here are his stats:

Liam is fine, he is in the 75 percentile for height and weight.
He is 30.5 inches long and 22.6 pounds.

He is the smallest baby I have had!!

The Dr said that he looks great, is progressing well and keep doing what we are doing!

He also cut another tooth on the bottom left, finally, he was lop-sided there for a while with 3 teeth on the bottom and 4 on the top. :)

Halloween

It was a little dark in the gym so not that great with the pictures...but here we have it.
Audrey was a Fairy...in all pink! So strange, she doesn't really like pink and hasn't wanted to dress up in the past. But you take 'em when you can!


Logan was a super hero. He was one of the characters from The Incredibles. He wore this outfit last year...a good super hero can't be put away!


Liam was Piglet. He wasn't feeling too good, had a cold so he wasn't too happy to be in that outfit.


We went to the base Fall Festivities (not as good as Elvaton's last year I have to say!) anyhow the kids got thier faces painted (well, not Liam).
